Publication Prizes

The purpose of the Prizes is to acknowledge the achievements of early-career researchers in Western Australia in the field of medical or clinical research who have the best published scientific papers; and to facilitate conference attendance, networking and research collaboration through the provision of a travel allowance to the successful applicants.

A Publication Prize is available in each of the following categories:

  1. Raine Research Prize (awarded to the best scientific paper arising from research undertaken by a WA medical researcher)
  2. Strachan Memorial Prize (awarded to the best scientific paper arising from research undertaken by a WA clinical researcher)

Each Publication Prize provides funding of up to $5,000 as a travel allowance.
